Integrated terminal
Cecam’s “mobile data terminal” is the Swiss-Army Knife of taxi displays.
It works as a taxi meter, delivers job and customer information, transmits taxi status and location to base, and fully integrates with an EFT-POS / credit card terminal.
Job Management
Through the MDT drivers receive job information that makes the most efficient use of their time and location, reducing fuel costs and maximising revenue. Drivers are also reminded of mandatory rest-breaks to ensure LTSA compliance.
GPS Tracking
A tiny GPS receiver ensures that taxi location is relayed to base for improved efficiency and job distribution.
GPRS modem
A small mobile network (GPRS) modem installed on board handles all data communication between taxi and base. Using an established mobile network ensures consistent, nationwide coverage.
