FleetSmart will advise in advance of any service work to be carried out on fleet vehicles. This activity will be managed to ensure compliance for warranty and our customer's fleet policy. The service work will be authorised to ensure the contracted service agent uses negotiated discounts. FleetSmart's pre-authorisation process ensures only required work is carried out on any vehicle for servicing or repairs and maintenance.
Vehicle Fit-Out
FleetSmart manages the vehicle fit-out process. This includes pick up and delivery of the vehicle to minimise disruption to driver.
Legal Compliance
FleetSmart offers an automated service where registration labels are mailed out in advance, set by registration date.
Your fleet controller will endeavour to ensure WOF or COF certification is carried out and aligned with service work to reduce vehicle off-road time.
Your fleet controller manages and simplifies RUC compliance and ensures regulatory compliance for OSH management.
Accident and Emergency Breakdown Support
FleetSmart offers a comprehensive roadside assistance programme - Auto Assist. Auto Assist is toll-free and available 24 hours, 7 days a week. Auto Assist creates a safe environment for drivers and provides immediate options. Your fleet controller will manage any repairs of work required to vehicle.
Integrated Reporting and Billing
Our customers' receive a monthly consolidated tax invoice and individual vehicle reports from FleetSmart. Your FleetSmart fleet controller will ensure that all fleet related costs are centralised and reported on into a structured and agreed report format to ensure ease of utilisation.
Special ad-hoc reports can be provided as required to better assist in the management and replacement of its fleet operation. Reports can be in paper, electronic and online formats to suit your requirements.
Our FBT reporting will provide you with an audit trail for days when a vehicle is not available for private use, plus any contribution for private use.
Vehicle Database
FleetSmart will keep an up-to-date record of all the fleet vehicle details in its database to ensure access to information is available for historical use in purchase, placement and compliance.
FleetSmart will also utilise odometer readings (which are captured at point of sale at fuel transactions) to recommend vehicle placements to ensure the fleet achieves annual targeted kilometre usage. This can result in a review of the utilisation of vehicles to determine if the current fleet number is appropriate. Significant cost savings can be achieved through fleet rationalisation.
