Cardlink Systems have successfully redesigned their core loyalty host software to achieve speed improvements of several orders of magnitude.

The whole transactional batch process has been optimised so that the process runs as fast as possible. This means that for most Cardlink customers the application will run at least three times faster, depending on exact system configuration. Changes have been made to the underlying Microsoft SQL 2000 code format to achieve these improvements.
