To continue helping merchants provide the best possible service, Cardlink has grouped together the questions merchants most often ask:

Q. What does a customer's card type mean?
A. Fuel and Oil only - a cardholder can only buy fuel, oil and car washes.
Automotive Services - a cardholder can make any vehicle-related purchase.
All Services - any type of purchase can be made from a participating merchant.

Q. How can I decrease what I am paying in merchant ser vice fees (MSF)?
A.By extending your settlement period you can further reduce the percentage that you pay in MSF. The available settlement periods are 7, 14, 21 and 28 days.

Q. Which service stations accept a DualCard?
A.The DualCard can only be used at Caltex (including Challenge) and Shell fuel sites.

Q. What is your floor limit and what do I do if it is exceeded?
A.Cardlink's floor limit is $750 per transaction, if the purchase exceeds this amount then you will nee d to call 0800 655 601 for authorisation. Once the transaction has been approved, it will need to be processed manually. Cardlink cannot settle unauthorised purchases that exceed the floor limit.
