What do you get when you cross New Zealand's leading roadside assistance service provider with New Zealand's leading charge card company? Pretty much everything a motorist needs.
That's the idea at least behind AA and Cardlink's recent agreement to coordinate their after-hours call centre and roadside assistance service. And certainly nobody's left stranded in this move.
Cardlink will be making the most of the AA's award-winning and recently upgraded road service network to provide its Onecard, DriveCard, FleetCard, DualCard, PlusOne and FleetSmart customers with an extensive 24/7 roadside assistance package.
And the AA will be incorporating Cardlink's sophisticated PlusOne charge card as part of their newly enhanced AA Business Care offering to corporate customers.
Ben Unger, Chief Executive Officer of Cardlink, is clearly excited about the venture. "We are delighted to form a comprehensive relationship with the AA. We share a common interest for our customers, which is interest in their safety and security on the road. When the unfortunate happens, we are pleased that the Cardlink customer will be served by the best services to get them back on the road, quickly and affordably.
Bashir Khan, Manager for AA's Business Vehicle Solutions agrees. "Part of AA's long term motoring strategy is to expand its services across to the SME and Corporate driver. We are pleased to be able to offer the trusted AA Roadservice and After-hours customer service support to Cardlink's Customers, and be part of the independent and unique experience that Cardlink delivers through their PlusOne programme".
“It's all about giving our customers more mileage.”
Bashir Khan from the AA and Ben Unger from Cardlink team up to provide a
comprehensive on-road package for their motoring clientele.
