Cardlink's PointsPro product delivers promotional flexibility and complex
points processing to some of the most successful Coalition Programmes.
A major redevelopment effort is underway at Cardlink to deliver a radically
enhanced and improved points processing and promotion engine. The
improvements will be made available to all Cardlink's contracted
customers and any new customers. The architectural changes to the
product will improve the ease of promotion set-ups, increase the amount
and complexity of promotions available and deliver promotional management
improvements while reducing programme overheads.
Enhancements include the ability to:
Allow Cross-Participant Promotions:
This allows participants to cross-sell e.g. an airline-company, a travel agent
and a hotel chain; or a fast-food chain and a video store.
Allow Multi-Participant Promotions:
Supports Global promotions e.g. if all participants in a programme offer the
same standard points rate, a single promotion is created to accommodate this
instead of one promotion per participant.
Support Pre-Calculated Transactions:
If a participant chooses to calculate their own points, their transactions can
still be processed through PointsPro, thus ensuring that members benefit from
global promotions and from promotions based on frequency and/or activity over a period of time.
Allow Multiple Customer Lists:
This allows multiple customer lists to be associated with a promotion.
Each customer list may represent a specific target segment.
Allow Multiple Valid Periods:
This allows a single promotion to be enabled/disabled e.g. a promotion may run all year round,
with the exception of the peak period. Rather than closing the promotion for that period
users simply create valid periods for the promotion.
To Target Multiple Times Per Day:
On a single day of the week target multiple times e.g. 9-10 and 4-5
Cardlink continually strives to innovate and provide business-enhancing improvements to benefit the market.
